77 riders turned out for the REG BOWKER TROPHY TRIAL held at Chawton Park Forest, Alton on Sunday December 12th. Chawton Park is a large Forrest complex and conditions were icy with 3 laps of 12 mainly "traditional" sections with a good ride round of around 5 miles. 12 Experts lined up including Alan Ayres looking to repeat last years win and was in good form on the large climbs of section's 6,7& 10. But it was Sam Connor riding with brothers Tim & James that made the sections look easy going CLEAN to take the Expert win. On the blue route Paul Jay, Dave Renham & Nick Heane all had good rides on the slippery exit of section 11. Elliot Tickner found the slippery going to his liking on the Novice route with a cracking ride on section 6, up around a tree and across the camber. At the finish Audrey Bowker presented the REG BOWKER TROPHY to winner Sam Connor.
