The South East Premier off-road event will be held this year on Tuesday 27th December The Day After Boxing Day. Weavers Down, the home of BEC Natterjack, will be the venue. Renowned for its challenging, spectator friendly and all-weather terrain, last year’s event proved to be very rideable even with the heavy snow.
Help for Heroes is our chosen charity with over £1700 donated from last year’s event. Every pound will go directly towards helping wounded Servicemen and women.
We are also taking this opportunity to launch our online membership system, of which we will offer one year’s subscription - FREE called Basic Membership. Open to anyone, promotion runs until February 1st 2012.
Witley MCC membership will now run from one year from payment date, using PayPal as our processor, with the option to yearly auto-renew membership (excluding Basic). Provision is being made to tie this in with any future ACU online licencing system. Ride With The Best! Ride With Witley! - more riding less filling in forms.
Classes have been re-vamped for this year, sidecars and quads are dropped due to safety concerns. The much-requested Twinshock Evo and Mini Bike have now been included for this year, with the the SEEC classes this will make nine all together.
We do reserve the right to move you if we think you are riding out of class.
There is a 300 rider limit, so please get in touch at the earliest opportunity for cancellations, you will be denying someone the chance of a ride, no contact no refund. To speed up the signing-on process, payments must be received in advance.
We are planning on holding a Trophy Presentation Ceremony within 30 minutes of the finish, make sure your bikes are secured before attending.
Marshalls are always welcomed, we expect you to stay on and help clear the course, for marshalling enquiries speak to Clerk of the Course Colin Boniface 07812 924510.
